Powder Coating incorporates a heavy pigment of color in a resin base, which is sprayed onto a metal object. Curing then occurs at a high temperature to product a smooth, and very durable finish. There are a large variety of colors and finishes available with this process. Opaque, transparent, gloss, matte, solid, and fleck are just a few. Powder coating offers a lot of flexibility. It can be used by itself or combined with other processes, such as chrome or polishing. It can even be applied with multible colors per piece.
Bright Chrome AKA Show Chrome, is one of the most popular processes used in customizing. When done properly. Bright chrome will add the WOW to your bike. A 5 layer electro-plating process, including 3 nickels and hexavalient chrome. Unlike "triple-plating", which can have a brown or yellowish tint, our process produces a very bright "blue white" shine. Sport Chrome can virtually do any part of your ride. Frames, bolts, aluminum, steel, magnesium, and even plastic can be chromed.
Anodizing is a finish process that basically, dyes or colorizes a piece of metal. There are a wide range of colors to chose from. Great for hardware due to its zero depth coating. Most commonly, an entire piece is anodized one color, but can be engraved afterwards for a custom look. Great against the elements of nature, and will not fade.
Gold Plating - The ultimate in custom looks. 18 or 24 carat gold is applied to the part after it is bright chromed. Because gold is a soft metal, we highly recommend that a clear overcoat be applied after the process to help protect the finish. Due to the sensitive nature of the finish, this process is usually reserved for show rides, or ones that are not subject to a lot of weather and use.
